You may find we're not the cheapest store online, however, we are committed to providing the best quality live food above cost. All of our live food is checked daily, and will never be sent out with any dead food.

Daily fresh delivery - Same day dispatch (when ordered before 3 pm) - Live food orders are despatched the same day if you order before 3 pm and the next day if you order after 3 pm, excluding Friday, Saturday and Sunday (these orders will be sent on Monday).
Cold weather - Important information:
During cold weather, we endeavour to ensure your live food arrives as warm as possible. To achieve this, we employ various packing methods depending on the severity of the predicted weather. This includes the use of heat packs (if added to your order) and extra insulation within the outer cartons.

However, despite our best efforts, your live food may appear lifeless upon arrival (even though it's not!). To revive your live food effectively, it's crucial to follow these instructions carefully:

Unpack the outer boxes immediately.

Gently lay out all pre-packs to allow for proper air circulation.

Place the pre-packs in a warm, dry room (15-25°C).

Crucially, do not apply external heat to cold live food. This includes heat pads/strips, warm vivarium's, or direct lighting. Rapid warming can fatally shock the insects.

For bulk quantities in bags, hold the bag horizontally and gently 'shuffle' the contents to distribute the cold insects evenly. Then, leave the bag horizontally to recover slowly in a warm room.
Full recovery may take up to 4 hours, so please allow your insects ample time. Most live food will recover fully when handled correctly upon arrival.
